A slashing stroke slices thru you. It strikes right to the heart. Giving no reason and little rhyme, A true poet's sword is his pen. His true attack is his word. Each scrawling stroke is succinct. There is a reason it is called, 'Cutting out the bullshit' or 'Cutting to the heart of the matter.'
A poet should never fear his words. He should show them proudly. He should let life be his inspiration. He should strive to attain balance. The power in his words should seek Only balance, never malice. Justice, never vengeance. But simultaneously they should seek Passion, poise, control, chaos.
Free thinkers are dangerous, but ART IS WAR!
A poet stands ready, sword in hand. A poet stands strong ready to fight. As a person a poet can be defeated, But his message, his ideal, If it is strong enough can be immortal.
